Shutterstock, Inc. (NYSE: SSTK) announced the launch of its connector in Anthropic's Claude, allowing users to access its high-quality, licensable content directly within Claude. The integration enables users to discover and license images, videos, music, and sound effects from Shutterstock's collection for presentations, strategic briefs, campaign concepts, and internal communications. Paul Teall, Vice President, Marketplace Strategy at Shutterstock, said the systems are "still largely disconnected" and the company is "breaking down that divide" to help customers strategize, ideate, create, iterate, license, and finalize work with less toggling and greater confidence. The connector provides access to Shutterstock's content, building on its global library of licensable content, data and services for AI model training, and AI-powered creative tools. The launch reflects Shutterstock's strategy to treat AI and content as one integrated experience, helping customers combine human creativity with AI-powered workflows. Together with Shutterstock's recently launched ChatGPT app, the Claude integration expands its strategy of embedding its AI-powered creative platform across AI environments.
