DXC Technology has certified 86 engineers under the multi-year Anthropic alliance it announced in June, CEO Raul Fernandez told analysts on Thursday. That is the first cohort against a commitment to train tens of thousands of Claude-certified forward-deployed engineers. Fernandez said DXC’s Consulting and Engineering Services business is “the single biggest beneficiary” of the partnership, and that the company has taken “an extremely conservative approach to modeling near zero” revenue for the current fiscal year. DXC Oasis, the agentic orchestration platform for managed services that runs Claude as its default foundation model, launched with 10 customers in April and now operates in 57 customer environments, with DXC targeting 85 by the end of its first half and 125 by the end of the fiscal year. CFO Robert Del Bene said the company is now using the platform for all new “intelligent infrastructure” engagements, which helped drive a 34.7% increase in infrastructure bookings. Hours before reporting, DXC named Paul Taylor president and moved its three group presidents under him. These include Dan Gray, who co-led the build of Oasis and now runs Global Infrastructure Services in place of the departing Chris Drumgoole. Holly Grant, promoted on Monday to lead AI innovation and LabX with the commercial side of DXC’s AI partner platform strategy, continues to report to Fernandez.
