Screen-Less Apple Watch Unveiled: Will AI-Powered Screen-Free Smart B…

Apple is reportedly reassessing its Apple Watch product line, with internal discussions covering circular dials, different sizes, new high-end and entry-level models, and a screenless Apple Watch, according to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman. Apple hopes this round of changes could bring a product that has not broken through its basic form for more than a decade to the next stage, similar to what foldable screens did for the iPhone. However, Gurman emphasized that Apple has not selected the final route, and the circular screen and screenless solutions are only possibilities, nowhere near mass production. The evolution of smart watches and bands has revolved around screens over the past decade, but screenless bands are gaining traction. In May 2025, Whoop launched the Whoop 5.0 and Whoop MG with electrocardiogram capabilities; a month later, Amazfit launched the Helio Strap; in September, Polar launched the Polar Loop, a screenless band with no mandatory subscription. In May this year, Google released the Fitbit Air, and in July, Garmin entered the market with the CIRQA screenless health management band. The Google Fitbit Air is priced at $99.99, weighs only 12 grams in total including the band, and can be used continuously for a week. After its official release on May 26, it quickly sold out, with multiple colors out of stock and shipping delayed in Google Stores.
