The Ministry of Science and ICT released on July 13 cases of utilizing K-AI models developed by companies such as SK Telecom, LG AI Research, NC AI, and Upstage. SK Telecom has applied a lightweight model to the production sites of KONNECT, an automotive parts manufacturer, and starting in the second half of this year, will begin field verification in KONNECT's casting and machining processes using AI agents trained on existing process-related data. SK Telecom plans to convert the experiential knowledge of skilled workers into data using a large language model (LLM). LG AI Research and Hancom are launching a strategic collaboration, centering on LG AI Research's model "EXAONE," to apply key Hancom AI services to public sector use. NC AI is partnering with the INNOBIZ Association to support AI transformation (AX) among domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), providing an optimized architecture for high-performance AI operations with minimal infrastructure resources. Upstage and the Orkestro Group are building generative AI services for the public sector using Upstage's AI model "Solar," and a consortium including Orkestro and Upstage will participate in the "AI Specialized Pilot City Project."
