Google announced that its AI, Gemini, will soon connect with a number of third-party apps, including productivity, health, lifestyle, entertainment, and home apps. The full list includes Granola, Otter.ai, Wix, Fever, GetYourGuide, Localize, OpenTable (UK), Ticketmaster, iHeartRadio, Pandora, Angi, Thumbtack, and Zocdoc. In practice, users should be able to book a dinner reservation, a concert later that same day, and get a related Pandora playlist without leaving a conversation with Gemini. Google says the ability for Gemini to connect with these will be rolled out "over the next weeks." The announcement came during yesterday's Made by Google event, which also featured new hardware. In related news, Google also said that Gemini has more than 1 billion monthly active users, meaning it grew faster than any other product in the company's history, including search.
