TCL has announced a major expansion of its Google TV smart platform for European TVs, adding Google's Gemini AI service via firmware updates to many 2026 and select 2025 models. The rollout has already started in the U.K., extending to other key European markets throughout 2026. Compatible TVs will receive the Gemini update automatically if Auto Update options are activated, enabling advanced AI-powered search, Q&A features, and more natural conversational communication for discovering content, answering questions, playing music, and controlling smart home devices. Confirmed 2026 models include the X11Ls, C8Ls, C7Ls, RM9Ls, RM7Ls, MSQLED80L series, Q7D-UK series, C8K Pros, A4000Us, most screen sizes of the A400 Pro series, A400s, A400M-UKs, P8Ls, T8Ds, U85As, and U75As. The 43-inch A400 Pro, P7Ls, P6Ls, and U65A models require an Android U upgrade.
