Databricks evaluated Kimi K3 across internal enterprise benchmarks, finding it consistently performs at the level of leading proprietary models. On Databricks, Kimi K3 runs against governed enterprise data through Unity Catalog, allowing agents to query the lakehouse and access feature stores. Unity AI Gateway provides a single control plane with fine-grained access permissions, safety guardrails, audit trails logged to Unity Catalog, and spend controls.
