The AI-based Pod from American sleep tech company Eight Sleep, a smart mattress topper, is in the news. It uses highly sensitive sensors to record body-related signals throughout the night, including body temperature, heart rate, breathing rate, different stages of sleep, and the number of times a person turns over. The AI automatically adjusts the bed's temperature to improve sleep quality, and the temperature of both sides of the bed can be kept different. Upon waking, an app shows the entire night's analysis and provides a sleep fitness score. Big names like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and anti-aging entrepreneur Bryan Johnson have used it. Its starting price is around 3,500 dollars.
