Cohere, a community management and placemaking firm, announced its expansion into South Carolina through a new partnership with K. Hovnanian, one of the nation's largest homebuilders. Beginning Aug. 1, Cohere will lead full community management and engagement programming services for K. Hovnanian's® Four Seasons at Carolina Oaks in Bluffton and K. Hovnanian's® Four Seasons at Hilton Head Lakes in Hardeeville, two resort-style 55+ active lifestyle communities in South Carolina's Lowcountry. K. Hovnanian selected Cohere for its belonging-first philosophy and comprehensive approach to governance, financial stewardship and high-touch management. The expansion marks Cohere's entrance into one of the nation's fastest-growing places to live and relocate. Todd Hornback, co-founder and CEO of Cohere, called the expansion an exciting milestone, and Christy Bryse, CMCA, AMS, regional vice president at Cohere, said the company aims to shorten the journey from newcomer to neighbor. Both communities offer resort-style amenities, low-maintenance living and vibrant social opportunities for active adults ages 55 and up. Cohere currently manages communities across multiple states, including numerous active adult neighborhoods.
