ChatGPT’s status checker initially stated it was not aware of any issues, but an update at 4:58 p.m. showed the platform was seeing errors, saying, “We are investigating login issues and intermittent errors affecting ChatGPT.” By that time, more than 5,000 users had reported an issue. An update at 5:07 p.m. indicated more than 7,000 users had reported an issue, and by 5:18 p.m., more than 10,000 users had reported an issue with the platform.
