Samsung C&T said Tuesday it held a kickoff meeting for proof-of-concept collaboration under its open innovation program, '2026 FutureScape,' on the 8th and has begun PoC activities with the six startups it ultimately selected. The program is jointly promoted by Samsung C&T and the Seoul Economic Development Agency (SBA) to identify startups, support market validation, and create shared business models. The six startups are Home&Co, LeMong, InBooth, Dever, SeeFlat AI, and Team Ellysium, spanning home platform, wellness, senior living, robot solutions and next-generation edtech. Samsung C&T will offer opportunities to validate business models and jointly develop technologies, along with scale-up benefits including voucher support from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Naver and Megazone, as well as commercialization support grants on the order of up to 50 million won. A Demo Day is set to be held in October. Since 2023 to date, Samsung C&T has identified a total of 21 innovation startups through its 'FutureScape' program.
