At the Gasgoo 4th AI-Defined Vehicle Forum on September 18, Zelos' General Manager of Ecosystem and Innovation, Xue Yapeng, said the value of physical AI must be rooted in the field and refined through real-world iteration, with the unmanned vehicle ecosystem's core being division of labor: car experts build vehicles, tech experts develop AI, and scenario experts define needs. Zelos, founded in August 2021 with offices in Beijing, Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Silicon Valley, launched its LC logistics unmanned vehicle and became the first in the industry to achieve commercial deployment at the scale of 10,000 units between 2021 and 2023. It plans to collaborate with automakers via a V2X model to build ecosystem vehicles by the end of 2025, and recently released a robotaxi product. Its "physical AI brain" comprises the vehicle-side VIA algorithm, cloud-side VI model, and Safety AI, powered by the logistics sector's first 10,000-card computing cluster and opened to third-party partners. Zelos has accumulated 250 million kilometers of driving mileage with a fleet of 30,000 units, operating in more than 20 countries and 300 cities, with an L4 scenario library covering an equivalent driving distance of 40,000 kilometers per hour, roughly 120,000 intersections, and 100,000 traffic light identifications.
