Samsung Electronics is rapidly providing Google’s enterprise AI platform, ‘Gemini Enterprise,’ to its Device eXperience (DX) employees. Google Cloud announced on July 13 that it is providing ‘Gemini Enterprise’ to Samsung Electronics’ DX Unit employees worldwide, including in South Korea, representing the largest scale to date among Google Cloud’s enterprise Agentic AI deployments in South Korea. Executives and employees will be able to utilize the Gemini Enterprise app as a conversational collaboration space, integrating dispersed internal systems and assisting in searching and utilizing knowledge data in real time. Google Cloud supports a feature enabling them to develop an ‘AI agent’ that proactively performs specific tasks, allowing for an optimized agent system tailored to roles like human resources and marketing. Gemini Enterprise is deployed directly into the dedicated Google Cloud Tenant environment of Samsung Electronics’ DX Unit, ensuring sensitive corporate data is managed within strictly controlled boundaries. Last month, Samsung Electronics declared an ‘Artificial Intelligence Transformation (AX),’ applying AI to all business operations, and has also established a strategic collaboration with OpenAI. Google Cloud stated the long-term goal is to realize company-wide AI popularization so that both development and non-development personnel can directly create AI agents.
