Semiconductor equipment maker ISTE said on June 15 that it is conducting a proof of concept (PoC) project with a major Korean cloud service provider (CSP) to verify the performance of AI servers. The system under evaluation is an Nvidia HGX server equipped with the company's next-generation Blackwell B300 GPUs. ISTE established a strategic partnership with Taiwanese EMS company Pegatron late last year, under which ISTE introduces Pegatron's AI data center server products to the Korean market. ISTE CEO Cho Chang-hyun met with Pegatron co-CEO Gary Cheng during Computex Taipei 2026, held in Taiwan from June 1 to June 4, to strengthen cooperation; executives from three Korean CSPs also attended. ISTE and Pegatron agreed to work closely on technology validation and service enhancement, planning to provide Korean CSPs with environments optimized for AI and HPC workloads. An ISTE official stated the top priority is successfully completing performance testing of Blackwell B300 AI servers for domestic CSPs and providing an optimized development environment for Korean CSPs including Samsung SDS, Naver, Kakao and NHN Cloud.
