A live Build-a-thon will take place on June 27, 2026 (Saturday) from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM IST | 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM ET, led by Shubham Lal, Founder of AILinc and former Developer at Microsoft. Over four hours, participants will watch an empty repo and a blank screen become Smart Feedback Hub, a complete, deployed AI SaaS product. The build occurs in three stages: Stage 1 involves AI-scaffolding a feedback form and dashboard shell in Next.js + Tailwind; Stage 2 covers designing a Postgres schema in Supabase, adding auth, building typed API routes, and creating an AI enrichment endpoint via the Anthropic API; Stage 3 focuses on moving enrichment to background processing with caching, retries, and idempotency, then deploying live to Vercel + Supabase. A bonus build includes a Slack alert that fires automatically whenever AI tags feedback as strongly negative. The session aims to teach separating AI-assisted engineering from AI-generated slop, reviewing and rejecting coding agent outputs, keeping slow AI calls from blocking users, and spotting what fails first when real traffic arrives.
