Users can locate any place on the web version, click “Create Image,” and enter a scene description; Nano Banana2 then generates high-precision custom images based on the current location’s geographical data. Google stated the feature covers scenarios including education, professional applications, and personal creation. Examples include educators using AI to restore historical sites, such as reconstructing the ruins of Pompeii in ancient Rome into former cityscapes; professional uses like visualized geographic information charts, real estate planning schemes, and pre-construction effect displays for engineering projects; and ordinary users generating creative visual content for familiar locations. With Nano Banana2 available on Google Earth, generative AI is further integrating into digital maps and spatial computing platforms, expanding from traditional geographic browsing to content creation and scenario simulation, offering richer visualization applications for industries such as education, urban planning, and architectural design.
