Elon Musk's plan to create an AI-generated version of *The Odyssey* using Grok Imagine has drawn attention from the Razzie Awards. Musk criticized Christopher Nolan's adaptation for "woke" casting, including Lupita Nyong'o as Helen of Troy and Elliot Page as a Greek soldier, and announced his own "historically accurate" movie. Razzie co-founder Maureen "Mo" Murphy told Gold Derby exclusively that Musk's project is "worthy of our consideration," noting that AI used to "cheat creative filmmakers out of work — or the storytelling is unoriginal, boring, or indefensible" catches their attention. Musk wrote on X on July 21 that "before this year ends, Grok Imagine will make a full-length movie of The Odyssey that is historically accurate and true to the art of Homer." His post has nearly 12 million views but only 177K likes. Musk promises the AI version will be released in 2026, making it eligible for the 2027 Razzies.
