ChatGPT was the most used business AI app among South Korea's smartphone users in September, recording 24.7 million monthly active users (MAU), Wiseapp Retail said on Nov. 4. adot Phone ranked No. 2 with 11.47 million, followed by Google Gemini with 9.87 million, Claude with 4.04 million, Microsoft Copilot with 1.96 million, Notion with 1.84 million, Clova Note with 1.66 million, Grok with 1.29 million, Perplexity with 1.29 million, and Canva with 1.2 million. Among business AI apps with more than 1 million users as of September, Claude had the highest growth rate, with year-over-year user growth reaching 853.1%, followed by Gemini at 192.0% and Grok at 142.7%. Wiseapp Retail classified as business AI apps the general-purpose Conversational AI and Agentic AI that support work and research, record/collaboration AI, and design AI services among apps with more than 200,000 users in September. The survey was conducted on a sample of Korean Android and iOS smartphone users.
