This reversal applies to Outlook for Windows, Android, iOS, and the web; Outlook Classic was never affected. Separately, Microsoft confirmed it will add Copilot to Outlook Classic, integrating Microsoft 365 Copilot directly into the compose experience, allowing users to create, refine, and edit email content in real time. Windows Latest also found Microsoft testing a new floating Copilot button at the bottom-right corner of the screen, similar to Office apps like Excel and Word, with no changes observed that would let users decide how or whether Copilot should be enabled after an update.
