PlusAI reported reaching 93.4 percent “Safety Case Readiness” as it moves toward the planned commercial launch of factory-built driverless trucks in 2027. The company published updated performance figures for the first half of 2026, showing improvements in safety validation, autonomous driving, and the number of journeys completed without assistance from remote operators. PlusAI expects to reach 100 percent Safety Case Readiness in 2027, ahead of commercial deployment of trucks equipped with its SuperDrive autonomous driving system. Safety Case Readiness increased to 93.4 percent in the first half of 2026, compared with 90.1 percent in the second half of 2025. The Autonomous Miles Percentage increased from 99.2 percent to 99.8 percent, and Remote Assistance Free Trips increased from 79 percent to 85.2 percent. PlusAI is targeting more than 90 percent of trips without remote assistance before commercial launch. During the first half of the year, PlusAI launched a commercial autonomous fleet trial with International and Ryder on the I-35 freight corridor in Texas and announced plans to introduce autonomous trucks in Southern Europe through a collaboration with Spanish logistics company Sesé and the Government of Aragon. PlusAI also released SuperDrive 6.0, adding improvements to AI and processing capabilities, night driving support, and navigation of construction zones. The company expanded its work with Nvidia, achieved four ISO certifications, and expanded commercialization partnerships in Europe and Japan.
