LG Group has begun a monthlong review of its affiliates centered on artificial intelligence, investment efficiency and global technology partnerships as it prepares for 2027, according to Pulse by Maeil Business Newspaper on October 20, 2026. The review, which began with LG's electronics affiliates and is set to move through battery, chemical, telecommunications and IT services businesses, will examine how individual businesses are pursuing opportunities in physical AI and AI data centers. Partnerships with Nvidia and Microsoft are central to the group's One LG strategy; cooperation with Nvidia covers robotics, AI factories and mobility, while discussions with Microsoft focus on AI data-center infrastructure, AI transformation and physical AI. Pulse reported that LG is developing a bipedal humanoid robot with Nvidia and plans an AI-factory reference site using Nvidia technology. The Korea Herald wrote on October 19 that the reviews are intended to turn broad AI priorities into concrete business plans, and the process will also weigh investment returns, profitability and cooperation across affiliates, making execution a key test for LG's growth strategy. LG Corp is the group's holding company.
