Tesla has introduced artificial intelligence features for the 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive in India, headlined by Grok, the conversational AI assistant developed by xAI. The software arrives via Tesla’s over-the-air update system, adding voice-based capabilities, navigation improvements, and vehicle intelligence. Test drives are now available at Tesla Experience Centres in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram. The SUV is priced at Rs. 50.89 lakh (ex-showroom), with bookings open through Tesla’s official website. Orders placed before 30 August 2026 include a complimentary Wall Connector. Financing options start with a down payment of Rs. 6 lakh, and indicative monthly EMIs begin from Rs. 39,990, subject to lender approval. The vehicle delivers up to 500 km (WLTP) on a full charge, accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.9 seconds, and offers 2,138 litres of storage capacity. The cabin seats up to five occupants. Grok is available at no additional cost and can be activated by saying “Hey Grok” or pressing the steering wheel voice button.
