ESW has launched a new solution called ESW Agentic Commerce, partnering with Microsoft Copilot to help brands enable AI-powered product discovery. The functionality allows brands to integrate and optimize their product catalogs on AI platforms, enabling secure checkout and payments within AI-powered shopping experiences. 10 of the Top 2000 online retailers in North America use ESW for international ecommerce services, according to Digital Commerce 360 data, and in 2025, those 10 retailers combined for nearly $18.19 billion in web sales. ESW said its pre-built AI agents automate payments, fraud management, fulfillment and customer service, and it has worked with brands including Levi’s, J.Crew, L’Oreal and Calvin Klein. ESW cited a McKinsey report projecting agentic commerce will represent a global opportunity of $3 trillion to $5 trillion by 2030, and a Gartner statistic indicating traditional search could decline by 25% as consumers shift toward using AI assistants. CEO Erich Eichmann stated, “AI is changing how consumers discover and buy products,” adding that retailers need infrastructure that generates revenue. ESW said its agentic commerce offering is the AI layer within its platform, working with retailers’ existing ecommerce platforms without replacing them.
