On July 30, ByteDance issued an internal notice to integrate businesses related to Doubao, Feishu and Volcano Engine, merging the Feishu and Doubao product teams into a new Doubao product team under Zhao Qi, head of Doubao. This architectural adjustment for ByteDance's B-end business since it established six business units in 2021 aims to connect R&D systems of office and productivity products and improve enterprise customer service. After integration, Doubao handles model capabilities and unified entry, Feishu provides enterprise office scenarios and customer touchpoints, and Volcano Engine undertakes computing power, technical infrastructure and commercial support. Similar changes are occurring at Alibaba and Tencent: Alibaba integrated QoderWork, Wukong and MuleRun into "Qianwen Office" and connected DingTalk and Alibaba Cloud product and sales systems; Tencent merged QClaw into the 6th Cloud Product Division where WorkBuddy is located. The "horse racing mechanism" relying on multi-team parallel trial and error is giving way to a "joint force mode" emphasizing organizational efficiency and commercial implementation. Feishu's GTM system, including marketing, sales and customer service teams, has also completed integration with relevant Volcano Engine teams, establishing a new To B GTM organization for enterprise customers.
