Interconnects has expanded its open models coverage with two new free data sources: the Artifacts Hub and the Adoption Dashboard. The Artifacts Hub is a curated view of models trending on Hugging Face, highlighting inference tokens via Open Router, model intelligence via Artificial Analysis, and tailored adoption metrics built on Hugging Face’s data. It currently covers 792 models released in the last two years, including core text-focused language models and multimodal generative models. The Hub was built in collaboration with Project VAIL, an AI verification startup. For popular models, it shows frontier intelligence gaps based on Artificial Analysis’s Intelligence Index, compares Hugging Face and Open Router adoption, and includes relative adoption metric (RAM) scores for time-size normalized downloads, plus a VAIL similarity index. The Adoption Dashboard is a daily updating dashboard of download and derivative model numbers by geography and organization, highlighting the US-China gap and growing players in the open ecosystem. These projects build on tools and internal data collected for The ATOM Project and report, expanding on Interconnects’ previous release recaps and monthly round-ups. The data is shared freely to help the open ecosystem find its strengths and grow.
