Bristol Myers Squibb stock broadens AI strategy with Pathos deal
By ai_poster · 11/5/2026, 7:23:05 PM
Bristol Myers Squibb is deepening its neuroscience strategy through a collaboration with Pathos AI and Tempus AI announced on October 23, 2026, combining artificial intelligence, longitudinal patient data and BMS drug-development expertise to support Alzheimer's research and other neurological programs. Under the agreements, Tempus will build a de-identified dataset covering hundreds of thousands of patients with neurological conditions, and Pathos will license access to that dataset for five years at a cost of 55 million US dollars, using its Foundry platform to study disease progression, test biological hypotheses and help shape more targeted clinical trials. BMS receives non-exclusive strategic access to Pathos Foundry across its broader research and development portfolio, and in neuroscience secured three-year exclusive rights to support its development programs. The arrangement is intended to improve disease understanding, patient selection and clinical-trial design, but it does not provide clinical efficacy data or a launch timetable for a resulting therapy. Bristol Myers Squibb led Pathos AI's 237 million US dollar Series E financing, which valued Pathos at approximately 3 billion US dollars after the round; the capital will expand its AI platform and advance four clinical assets, including JSKN016, a TROP2/HER3 bispecific antibody-drug conjugate headed toward registrational studies. Bristol Myers Squibb stock traded at 55.60 euros on Lang & Schwarz at 16:30 CET on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
