Music Recognition Accolades and Awards (MRAA) announced that ChatGPT was used as a development, planning, writing and review tool during the creation of the organization's new MRAA Member Site. The rebuilt platform was developed through an intensive two-week process focused on replacing and expanding the MRAA membership website originally introduced in 2024. During the redevelopment, ChatGPT helped organize requirements, identify weaknesses, structure membership workflows, review security needs, improve application forms and develop plans for payments, documentation and administrative review. MRAA founder La'Nardo Myrick Sr. stated that the use of ChatGPT helped work through interconnected requirements in a structured way. The project used a repeated process of outlining, reviewing, correcting, testing and refining. Myrick maintained control over organizational policies, pricing, membership standards, branding and final development decisions. The new platform includes a $100 membership application process, secure applicant documentation, administrative review, applicant payment records and separate annual membership billing after approval.
