Rank OS, an SEO harness for AI search built by SEO consultant Kasra Dash, is now available to members of The New Search, Dash's SEO community on Skool, according to a 19 September 2026 announcement from Manchester, England. The desktop application for Mac and Windows runs SEO jobs inside the AI model the user chooses, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and Claude, and lets the user switch model per job. An SEO harness is a fixed frame that holds an SEO process—the checks, checklists, prompts and data connections—and lets the operator plug in any AI model, with the model as the interchangeable part. Dash said processes built as prompts inside a single chat product break when that model is updated, cannot be reproduced reliably for clients, and cannot be moved to a different model that performs better for a given task. Rank OS adds new tools weekly; as of September 2026 the harness includes query fan-out extraction, topical maps, trusted sites and directories, Common Crawl rank using harmonic centrality and PageRank, and Google Search Console with auto-healing mode.
