At Microsoft's MCAPS Start for Partners event, the vendor outlined partner priorities for the next fiscal year, with artificial intelligence (AI) taking centre stage. Nicole Dezen, chief partner officer and CVP of global channel partner sales at Microsoft, wrote a blog stating, “This is a pivotal moment for our industry and a significant business opportunity for partners.” The blog encouraged partners to integrate AI tools and agents into their own operations through "Frontier Transformation." Microsoft indicated it would invest in the build, go to market, and co-selling areas of its programmes. On the build front, the focus was on Agent P, an AI-driven sales tool. Microsoft also introduced the Transformation Engineer Package, Frontier partner specialisation, and extended existing options to encompass more AI content. For go-to-market changes, Dezen stated, “Co-op is now shaped around demand generation and high-yield activities, with guidance to direct 30% of co-op investment toward Copilot.” For SME partners, the vendor noted that "FY27 also introduces a" (the sentence is cut off in the body).
