Ahead of Lisa Su's keynote at the AMD Advancing AI event, Ryzen AI Software 1.8 was released on GitHub, primarily supporting newer models and shipping more optimizations. The release includes support for new large language models, new text-to-speech model support, new embedding model support, new translation model support, and Stable Diffusion model updates with performance optimizations. Ryzen AI Software 1.8 also now supports running larger models on low-memory systems and better Whisper.cpp integration. The last Ryzen AI Software release was back in January.
