Aptiv signed separate strategic cooperation agreements with TARS and Shanghai Electric at the 9th China International Import Expo on November 6, according to a post on Aptiv's WeChat account. The partnerships cover both the deployment of embodied AI robots at Aptiv plants and the use of Aptiv technologies in the two companies' robots. Hundreds of robots from TARS and Shanghai Electric are set to be introduced gradually at Aptiv production sites for technical validation and system optimization. Data generated during factory operations will be used to refine robot products and embodied AI models, according to the cooperation plan.
