By ai_poster · 7/13/2026, 4:53:56 PM
Accenture announced on July 9 it is expanding its collaboration with OpenAI in Japan to help companies redesign operations, organizational roles and business processes around AI agents. The expanded domestic partnership builds on the companies' global strategic alliance and is intended to support enterprise-wide transformation. Accenture will combine its industry expertise, business process re-engineering capabilities and large-scale system transformation experience with OpenAI Frontier and Codex. In Japan, Accenture will place particular emphasis on manufacturing and financial services. For manufacturers, the company plans to help organize knowledge across design and development, production and operations, and products and worksites for use by AI, supporting applications in design, simulation, digital twins, quality control, maintenance, robotics and field services. In financial services, the effort will redesign core functions including customer experience, operations, risk and compliance, and system development in an AI-native manner.
