The google-cloud-developer plugin is now available to install directly from the Antigravity Marketplace in the Build with Google section, Google Cloud announced. The plugin equips Antigravity with foundational skills, safety guardrails, and live documentation grounding for building on Google Cloud, addressing coding agents that may invent deprecated SDK syntax, guess invalid command flags, or attempt operations without required Identity and Access Management (IAM) permissions. The bundled Developer Knowledge Model Context Protocol (MCP) server is pre-authorized by default, requiring no API keys, OAuth token exchange, or configuration file edits. The plugin bundles curated skills, intelligent routing rules, and the Developer Knowledge MCP server into a single portable package, providing three key benefits: live documentation grounding, with the agent querying official Google Cloud documentation over streamable HTTP; safety and cost guardrails, with the agent enforcing least-privilege IAM patterns and requiring consent before enabling billable APIs or modifying cloud infrastructure; and environment awareness, with the agent inspecting the local environment, detecting existing CLI configurations, and designing safe execution roadmaps before running commands. The plugin pairs core baseline skills and live documentation grounding with an intelligent skill routing architecture that discovers and pulls specialized skills from Google on demand. The bundled finding-google-skills skill powers flexible skill routing by discovering and loading skills on demand from the google/skills repository on GitHub.
