Users say Copilot is failing to respond or not working normally, with some reporting the problem has continued for several hours, meaning Copilot may open normally but fail when users try to ask a question or generate content. Some users also report problems with the app and website itself. Microsoft has previously acknowledged incidents in which users experienced problems with Copilot and restored service after making changes to the affected systems. Third-party monitoring also shows recent user reports, although automated service checks can sometimes show the platform as operational while individual users continue to experience problems. One user said, “Not working for hours!!! Boo!!!!! 😭👎🥺” Another reported, “Copilot works for me in Microsoft teams but not anywhere else,” suggesting the problem may not affect every Copilot experience the same way.
