Jackie Dorman, founder of the "Last Year Single" program, told Fox News Digital that outsourcing conversations and emotional decision-making to AI "is making us relationally stupid" and interferes with developing relationship skills. Dorman said she has seen AI used in nearly every stage of dating, from introductions and first impressions to breakups, noting that AI-generated profiles can make people seem witty online but disappointing in person. Dr. Christina Tracy Stein, a licensed marriage and family therapist, told Fox News Digital that while AI can help organize thoughts, relying too heavily on chatbots risks replacing authentic human communication. Stein warned that crossing the line into over-reliance occurs when people stop trusting their own instincts.
