Telugu Times, founded in 2003, is the first global Telugu newspaper in the USA, serving the NRI Telugu community through print, ePaper, portal, YouTube, and social media. It was started in July 2003 by a team of professionals with media and business expertise in India and the USA. The publication serves as a media tool for the Non Resident Telugu community and as a media vehicle for Business and Govt agencies. Today, it operates as a media house with Print and ePaper editions on the 1st and 16th of every month, a daily-updated Portal, a YouTube Channel with daily video news, and a liaison agency between the NRI community and Telugu States. It also functions as an event coordinator and organizer with a presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and WhatsApp groups. Telugu Times serves the Telugu community, described as the largest and fast growing Indian community in the USA, and acts as a Media Partner to all Telugu Associations and Groups, connecting with several major temples and Devasthanams in Telugu States. In its 20th year, from 2023, Telugu Times started Business Excellence Awards, an annual activity recognizing and awarding Business Excellence of Telugu Entrepreneurs.
