Turkish production house Ay Yapim has unveiled *Castle Walls*, a new series developed and produced using a wide range of generative AI technologies. Developed over the course of a year, the project is described as one of the industry’s first AI-generated series and combines Ay Yapim’s storytelling approach with an end-to-end AI-driven production workflow. The project used platforms including ChatGPT for prompt enhancement, MidJourney for visual exploration, Runway and Google Nano Banana for character integration, and Veo, Kling, ComfyUI and Topaz for video generation. For voice production and dubbing, the team used Runway and ElevenLabs. Ay Yapim’s dedicated AI division, AI YAPIM, developed proprietary technology, including AI Yapim Storyboard, a custom-built tool for storyboarding. A central element is AYDNA 1.0, Ay Yapim’s proprietary video diffusion model, fine-tuned using the company’s licensed catalogue to maintain a consistent visual style. *Castle Walls* is expected to premiere later this year on Turkish free-to-air television and on a global streaming platform.
