Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) formalised a series of technology partnerships at the Dubai FinTech Summit 2026, held at Madinat Jumeirah, to integrate artificial intelligence across its operations. CBD acted as the Strategic Banking Partner for the summit and signed multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) covering artificial intelligence, compliance, digital wealth, and legal technology. The bank will work with Microsoft to develop and enable AI use cases across business functions, and entered an agreement with Silent Eight to explore AI-powered name-screening solutions aimed at improving operational efficiency and strengthening governance frameworks. For its digital wealth division, CBD signed a strategic collaboration with Comarch AI Wealth to support development of its investment platform and digital offerings. A partnership with Zamp will focus on intelligent automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline internal processes. CBD also signed a strategic agreement with Harvey, Sirion, and Flank to enhance contract lifecycle management and legal operations. Ahead of the summit, the bank hosted the CBD FinTech World Cup Qualifier, where six fintech firms presented solutions in payments and digital innovation; DeFa by InvoiceMate was selected as the winner and will progress to the FinTech World Cup Grand Final held during the summit.
