Korean MMORPG developers are introducing AI-driven auto-play as a new competitive feature to reduce user fatigue from long sessions and repetitive hunting. Smilegate's "Eclipse: The Awakening," launching September 10, is a PC and mobile MMORPG developed by Nfixel on Unreal Engine 5, set in the worlds "Ederion" and "Ortea." Its "MMO Lite" concept preserves growth, cooperation, and competition while easing play burden. Key features include the "Sanctuary," where players earn summon tickets, growth currency, and experience points without logging in, and a "24-Hour AI Mode" that continues hunting and farming after the game is closed. The game raises paid summon odds and expands guaranteed-reward opportunities. Competitive content is optional, with most fields free of PvP pressure; "Highriver Battlefield," a faction-based mode, is designed to last about 10 minutes per match. Com2uS's "Zeus: God of Hubris," launching on the 26th, is developed by Aeverton on Unreal Engine 5 with a Greek mythology setting. Its "AI Mode" lets characters continue hunting and growing for a set period after the client closes, and a scheduling feature allows pre-assigning hunting grounds and coordinates by time slot. The game aims to lower the PvP barrier, letting more users participate in competition, addressing the common issue where a small group of top-tier players dominates.
