Kylie Jenner has teamed up with Meta to launch the Starfire Kylie Edition sunglasses, combining '90s-style oval frames with artificial intelligence. The shades, available in monochrome black, espresso-brown, and tortoiseshell colorways, feature Jenner’s voice to guide wearers, including looking up facts and translating over 20 languages via six hidden microphones, as well as capturing photos and videos with an ultrawide 12MP camera. Each pair comes with a foldable, rechargeable case that can charge the eyewear with up to 40 additional hours of battery. Settings can be adjusted through the Meta AI app, and prescription lenses can be ordered. Revealed on Instagram today, this marks the first celebrity partnership for Meta AI’s advanced eyewear, following Meta’s initial smart glasses release with Ray-Ban in 2021 and a wider international expansion in 2022.
