Microsoft users reported issues across several of the company’s services on Friday, including Microsoft Outlook and its AI chatbot, Copilot. According to DownDetector, reports of Outlook problems began shortly after 7am and peaked shortly before 9am, with almost 100 people reporting issues: 25% said they were struggling to log in and 43% said they were having trouble sending messages. Fewer issues affected Copilot users, with 30 people reporting problems, 63% of whom cited issues with its website. A handful of users also reported issues with Microsoft 365. Other services, such as the Microsoft Store and Microsoft Azure, did not appear to have widespread outages. Microsoft had not made a statement at the time of writing.
