UST has partnered with Anthropic to expand the use of artificial intelligence across its platforms, training 20,000 employees globally on the company's Claude AI models. The partnership will enable UST to integrate Claude into its proprietary industry platforms, engineering environments and operational workflows. UST chief executive officer Krishna Sudheendra said the partnership reflects the company's commitment to helping clients adopt AI responsibly. Under the collaboration, Claude will be embedded into engineering platforms used by semiconductor, automotive, manufacturing, telecommunications, embedded systems and internet of things companies. One key initiative involves integrating Claude into UST's hardware and semiconductor validation platform, UST-iDEC, which already reduced validation cycle times between 50 per cent to 70 per cent. UST will deploy Claude across its healthcare, telecommunications and banking platforms, and plans to expand its use into retail, consumer goods and manufacturing, while leveraging it internally across functions such as legal, finance, human resources and marketing. As part of the alliance, UST plans to certify 20,000 employees worldwide to strengthen its AI capabilities and support enterprise-scale deployments.
