According to Microsoft’s 2026 Work Trend Index, 65% of Swiss AI users say they can now perform higher-value analytical and creative work that would not have been possible for them a year ago, compared to 58% globally. Among Frontier Professionals, this rises to 83%. However, only 24% of Swiss AI users say leadership is clearly and consistently aligned on AI, and nearly half (48%) say it feels safer to focus on current goals than to redesign workflows with AI in mind. Additionally, 84% of Swiss AI users treat AI output as a starting point, not a final answer. The index draws on trillions of anonymized Microsoft 365 productivity signals and a survey of 20,000 AI users across 10 countries.
