Jianlin (2228.TW), an automotive safety component manufacturer, announced its consolidated revenue for July 2026 reached NT$433 million, a 6% month-over-month increase but a 0.54% year-over-year decline. Cumulative revenue for the first seven months totaled NT$2.88 billion, down 2.69% year-over-year. Despite global automotive market pressures from slowing end-demand, volatile tariff policies, and price competition in China, Jianlin holds a cautiously optimistic outlook for third-quarter operations, supported by stable orders from major Tier 1 clients and its expansion into AI server cooling. The company noted that order shipments from major clients drove stable July performance, with the monthly growth rate reaching 6%, indicating a recovery in short-term shipment momentum. Jianlin observed a structural industry transformation, where growth drivers are shifting from total vehicle sales to value per vehicle, as rising safety regulations and automaker upgrades increase installation rates of passive safety products like side airbags, center airbags, and seatbelts, alongside developing next-generation technologies such as smart seatbelts and adaptive airbags. This trend increases the variety and usage of safety components per vehicle, mitigating production fluctuations and providing long-term support. Jianlin’s product line includes inflator housings for airbag systems and precision tubes for pretensioner seatbelts, with production bases in Taiwan, China, and Poland enabling flexible capacity allocation.
