Affinitiv, a provider of intelligence-driven software and lifecycle marketing solutions for automotive retail, announced CapSure by Affinitiv, a new integration with Meta AI glasses designed for service video inspections. As one of the first software companies selected by Meta for this integration, Affinitiv is pairing CapSure with its Multi-Point Inspection and Tech Video solutions, allowing service technicians to record inspection videos hands-free using Meta AI glasses. The technology enables technicians to capture guided video of recommended repairs, worn components, safety concerns, and maintenance needs without holding a phone or tablet. For service advisors, CapSure facilitates sharing technician-recorded videos with customers to explain recommended work and provide visual proof. Advisors can also perform vehicle walkarounds while recording video of pre-existing conditions and needed repairs. The goal is to improve customer confidence, increase repair order approvals, and create a smoother path from inspection to authorization.
