ICAI Kuwait chapter’s webinar examines Claude AI’s role in accounting

The Kuwait Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) hosted a webinar on ‘Unlocking the Power of Claude AI in Accounting & Reporting’, which was attended by more than 280 members across Kuwait. Proceedings were opened by host Umesh Soni, followed by a formal welcome from chapter chairperson Rohit Agarwal, who underlined the rising importance of digital transformation in finance and the need for accountants to adopt AI-enabled solutions. The main technical presentation was delivered from India by Royal Bank of Scotland vice-president Harpreet Singh, who outlined Claude AI’s core features and capabilities, demonstrated its use in accounting workflows and financial reporting, and presented use cases on automation of routine tasks, advanced analytical work, and improving efficiency in finance functions. Established in April 2006, the ICAI Kuwait Chapter supports the professional growth of Indian chartered accountants in Kuwait and seeks to advance members’ skills while contributing to Kuwait’s economic development.
