The initiative would aim to expand AI education, equip learners and educators with advanced digital skills, and support the development of a new generation of AI talent, reinforcing Kenya’s reputation as one of Africa’s leading technology and innovation hubs. President Ruto emphasized leveraging emerging technologies to create economic opportunities for young people and accelerate innovation across the continent, highlighting the need for Africa to play an active role in shaping the future digital economy.
