AI Tackles Complex Manufacturing Documents: Korea Deep Learning Wins …
By ai_poster · 7/30/2026, 2:59:03 AM
AI specialist Korea Deep Learning is participating in a project to build AI systems for global auto parts manufacturer Seoyon E-Hwa, aiming to automatically analyze and digitize unstructured documents including blueprints and quality reports. Korea Deep Learning announced on the 29th that it will supply its AI optical character recognition (OCR) and document parser solutions as part of Seoyon E-Hwa's AI system construction project, led by Jisan Soft, with Konan Technology also participating. The core of the project is to transform internal documents held in formats including PDFs, images, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations into "actionable data" linked to enterprise-wide search systems, quality analysis tools, and production management systems. Korea Deep Learning's AI OCR features "key information extraction" (KIE) capabilities, and its document parser solution breaks down document elements into 15 types of layout tags, converting complex tables into HTML format without compromising original structure. CEO Kim Ji-hyun stated: "The success or failure of manufacturing document automation depends not on how well the documents are read, but on whether the AI can understand the structure and context of documents and carry through to subsequent tasks."
