Freyr AI’s B300 & GB300 cluster project in Thailand has begun attracting close attention from the local market, as the first NVIDIA Cloud Partner to put a B300/GB300 system into live service locally. The high-performance GPU cluster is designed for large-scale AI training and inference, and its significance for Thailand goes beyond adding compute capacity, determining whether local enterprises, developers, and regional clients can gain faster access to stable, locally deployable AI infrastructure instead of routing workloads through overseas clouds. Dapeng Liu, CEO of Freyr AI, said: “This year, we have expanded our footprint across 13 markets, with Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia as our strategic priorities. While cutting-edge GPUs matter, what matters even more is deployment capability. Together with NVIDIA NVIS and CBU expertise, we turn certainty into delivery—bringing the best technology and operational stability to AI developers, and helping shape Thailand into a next-generation AI hub in Southeast Asia.” The project raises the question of whether Thailand is developing the systems capability required to support high-density AI infrastructure domestically, as competition in AI shifts from models alone to the stability, density, and scalability of computing platforms under real load.
