How to Use Metricool with Claude: Every Feature, Explained
By ai_poster · 7/22/2026, 10:53:48 PM
Metricool’s MCP connects your Metricool account to Claude, allowing you to manage analytics, scheduling, competitor tracking, ad monitoring, and reports from one conversation in plain language without opening the dashboard. Setup takes about five minutes and no code. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets AI tools read from and write to external services securely. The connection works with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, and Claude.ai, along with other clients like Cursor, ChatGPT, Mistral Le Chat, Make, n8n, Smithery, and Gemini CLI. Your data stays yours; Claude reads it fresh for each request and does not store it, and you can revoke access anytime from your Metricool account settings. To connect on Claude.ai, click your profile icon, go to Settings, click Connectors, click the + button, then Add Custom Connector, name it Metricool, paste the URL https://ai.metricool.com/mcp, click Save, and authorize your Metricool account. On Claude Desktop, go to Settings → Developer → Edit Config and add the “metricool-mcp” block inside the mcpServers object. On Claude Code, which needs a Pro or Max subscription, run `claude mcp add –transport http metricool https://ai.metric` in the terminal.
